Christening coin struck at Royal Mint for Prince George

A coin designed to commemorate the christening of HRH Prince George of Cambridge went into production on Monday at The Royal Mint in South Wales. This is the first time that new UK coins have been produced to mark the christening of a member of the Royal family.

The Royal Mint unveiled a new set of coins to honor Prince George, who will be christened later this month. The collectible coins range from $20 to $80,000 for a gold coin.

Here's a great little 3D short animated creation "George", who gets the opportunity to see the world from a new perspective.

Tim Bahrij began creating George for a school-based short film competition, as well as for the University's Short film competition (BUFTA)

George won the "Outstanding Craft" award at All Saints Shindig and also won Best Animation in its category at BUFTA as well as the Dean's Choice award.
